To activate the functions of flashlight lighting and screwdriver taillight on the safety hammer, open the cover of the red part and insert two AAA dry batteries into the battery entrance (batteries not included, must be provided by the user).

To access the screwdriver, locate the black rubber ring below the red part of the Car Safety Hammer. This rubber ring is used to secure the screwdriver latch. Simply lift the rubber ring below the small vertical bar to remove the screwdriver.
